What does ‘Legal Poison’ even mean?

Honestly, it was the handle for one of the three when gaming online, but since then it has come to mean something more. Clearly, there are legal poisons on the market. But by in large, ‘legal’ and ‘poison’ does not seem to make sense; almost a paradox. We believe that’s what’s happened to a lot of the creative industry, software and web development in particular. For too long, programmers and designers have had a wall between them. Simple forms and database administration didn’t seem to lend themselves to “pretty” graphics. And on the other side, GUI’s were beautiful but seemed stifled and static. So we began to assess the situation and realized that a user can still use an amazing graphical interface that has at it’s core the functionality to drive it; creating the ultimate Rich Internet Application (RIA). This is what we stand by, and what we base our whole company philosophy on: combing unbeatable programming with unprecedented design all to make the perfect user experience.

History

Legal Poison Creative Studios was started by three individuals: Daniel Pitner - media designer, Jefrey Hamilton - Media Designer & Illustrator, and Sarving Coachbuilder - Programmer. Working together side by side at work, these three decided to take their services to the masses. Everything from web design and development, print media, video presentations, to application design and software. The goal was to find some work that would be fun and challenging, and would also break the monotony of the day-to-day work being produced. Within a couple of weeks of announcing the creation of the company, leads began pouring in. At this point, a day does not go by where someone does not contact Legal Poison for jobs, or to just simply say “wow”. Both are appreciated. With each passing day the studio grows more and more, and advances forward. Seeking out new approaches to projects as well as problem solving more technical aspects of the softworks side of things, Legal Poison strives to be a creative entity that pushes the edge of design to blend beautiful graphics with stunning technology. The future is bright, and we all look forward to serving you or your company’s individual needs!
